Greatest escape of this decade as Usman Khawaja And Paine Took the match away from Pakistan !

Usman Khawaja and Tim Paine both  played  innings of their life as Australia took away and match from Pakistan and successfully able to draw the first test. What an Unbelievable batting by Usman Khawaja under immense pressure. Usman Khawaja who scored his first century on Asian soul, proved a very important for Australia. He scored 141 runs today, but more importantly  he faced 302 balls, stayed at the Crease 524 minutes. In his 141 , he smashed 11 fours. First he made an important partnership with Travis Head, who scored 72 runs , faced 175 balls. He was out LBW on Hafeez’s ball.

Day 5:

Well just like first innings , openers gave a solid start to Australia. But the Muhammad Abbas took 3 quick wickets, Finch, Shaun Marsh and Mitchell Marsh. Then an important partnership was the important build up of day5. After an impressive inning, Head got out by Hafeez. Partnership was of 132 runs.   Then Yasir Shah took the wicket of Labuschagne who scored 13. With 5 wickets down, pressure was building on Australia. Aussie captain came for batting. In the start , he faced difficulties . He was not timing the ball properly , but Usman Khawaja the man of steel for Australia gave him confidence .

 

The centurion  was playing so well , he was playing reverse sweep like a master of it. Both Khawaja and Paine added  79 runs, but more importantly in 36 overs. After playing a master class innings. Khawaja lost his wicket to Yasir Shah. Lbw it was. So twist in the tail. Yasir shah took the wicket of Starc and   Siddle in one over.  Now all eyes were on Tim Paine and the new comer Lyon, who supported in captain very Well and they were able to survived  12 overs. Tim Paine played a Captain Innings as he scored 61 * faced 181 balls.
